The Tahoma boys basketball team is looking for a turnaround season.

Coach Rob Morrow said the South Puget Sound League 4A, North Division, is “really good, but we have a chance to do well.”

Leading the charge for the Bears is Christian Behrens who averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds last year.

Working from the forward position, Beherns is the anchor for Tahoma, but Morrow noted the team has talent around him.

The team was very young last year, but the program is building and gaining momentum.

“This year we can do a lot better,” Morrow said. “And we have the chance to do better.”

The coach said the team uses a motion offense along with sets and “a variety of things we can do.”
