The pride of Maple Valley

The Maple Valley Pride seventh grade boys AAU basketball team took second place in the 15th Annual President’s Day Tournament in Port Angeles on Feb. 14-15. The Pride opened with a win over Mountlake (63-60), then knocked off Mount Vernon (57-37). The Pride beat Snohomish 59-30 in the semifinals before falling to Edmonds, 59-52, in the championship game.
