Benefit Dec. 5 for Christian organization

The Winter Dreams Auction and Gala, a benefit for mission work in Nicaragua by Corner of Love, a Maple Valley-based Christian organization, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at Spirit of Washington Events Center in Renton.

The doors will open at 3 p.m. for previews of silent and live auctions.

Last year’s event drew more than 300 guests and raised over $80,000.
