The Kentlake Falcons beat Kent-Meridian 53-29 in the first round Thursday.

The girls advanced to the next round and are scheduled to face Puyallup at 7:45 p.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 13 at Auburn High School.

The Tahoma Bears girls basketball team lost 64-50 in its first round game.

The loss sends the Bears to the loser out bracket.

Tahoma is set to face Emerald Ridge at 3:30 p.m. today at Mount Tahoma High School.

BOYS BASKETBALL

The Kentwood boys team won 58-41 over Emerald Ridge in first round.

The boys were set to play Olympia Friday in the second round.

The Kentlake Falcons lost its first round game 83-45.

The Falcons are in the loser out bracket with a game played against South Kitsap Friday.
