Black Diamond will host a Tough Mudder mud run Sept. 29-30 with the event slated to start at Palmer Coking Coal Co., 31407 Maple Valley Highway.
Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. As the leading company in the booming obstacle course industry, Tough Mudder has already challenged half a million inspiring participants worldwide and raised more than $3 million dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project.
But Tough Mudder is more than an event, it’s a way of thinking. By running a Tough Mudder challenge, participants will unlock a true sense of accomplishment, have a great time, and discover a camaraderie with your fellow participants that’s experienced all too rarely these days.
Registration costs $135 if participants sign up by July 31, from Aug. 1-31 the costs is $145 and the entry fee is $155 from Sept. 1-22.
For those who are seriously tough and wish to participate for both days, organizers will provide a 50 percent discount for the second day if they are contacted through the Contact Us form on the website.
Those who are registered as individuals will select a preferred start time during online registration. Those who have registered as a team, only the team captain can select a preferred start time.
