Tahoma’s Christian Behrens pours in 26 in loss to Kentridge | Boys Hoops

Tahoma dropped a game to league leading Kentridge Tuesday on the road, losing 66-52.

The top scoring threats for each team did their job with Christian Behrens hitting 26 for the Bears and Gary Bell dropping in a game-high 35 for the Chargers.

Tahoma fell behind 19-16 in the first quarter and went into the locker room at the half down 36-30, still within striking distance.

The Bears kept the score close in the third quarter hitting 15 points to Kentridge’s 19. The hill became too high in the fourth with Tahoma adding seven and Kentridgte 11.

Logan Gudde scored 10 for the Bears and Paul Loranger added seven.

Tahoma played Auburn Riverside Thursday at home after the press deadline.

The Bears will host Kent-Meridan at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and travel to Jefferson for a 7:30 p..m. game Tuesday.
