Tahoma High’s varsity boys and girls soccer players will host a number of camps this summer.
Boys and girls in first through seventh grade can participate in the Bear Cubs soccer camp June 21-June 24 on the upper grass field at Tahoma High. The camp will be from 8:30 – 11 a.m. It costs $75 per student and includes a T-shirt.
The Bear Cubs camp will provide instruction in both individual and technical skills, small group tactical skills then each session will end with round robin games.
Junior high and high school age girls are invited to participate in the Lady Bears soccer camp July 18-21 at the Tahoma High stadium.
Participants will work on improving playing abilities and overall soccer intelligence with a focus on individual footwork and skill development. In addition, the camp coaches will offer speed and agility training.
The fee will be $85 per student. It will run from 8-10:30 a.m.
A Bears Boys soccer camp for high school and junior high aged players will be offered the same week as the Lady Bears camp. It will focus on the same areas as the girls camp. It will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will cost $85 per student.
Everyone who participates in the camp should bring a large bottle of water, soccer or running shoes, shin guards and a soccer bal. Wear comfortable clothes and bring rain gear, as well.
