Brian Johnson, a 2002 Tahoma High graduate, was inducted into the Sonoma State University Lacrosse Hall of Fame in Rohnert Park, Calif.
At Sonoma, he was a two year All-American, team captain and offensive leader of the team.
In 2001, he was also selected to Team California, where he was selected team captain and led that team on a summer tour of Japan.
At Tahoma, Johnson played four years on the varsity squad and led that team on offense his sophomore, junior and senior years.
He was named 1st team All-State his junior and senior years and finished his career as the top scorer ever for Tahoma/Maple Valley and was selected team captain by teammates.
Since receiving his degree, Brian has worked for the city of Bellevue and is the offensive coordinator of the Tahoma Lacrosse Club’s varsity team. He and wife Randi (Swanson) reside in Maple Valley with their newborn son, Talan Tyler Johnson.
Johnson is the son of Craig and Vonnie Johnson of Maple Valley.
