Five Tahoma High School alumni kicked off the NCAA Division one baseball season as starters in different programs across the country.
From the 2008 class, Chris Marangon was the starting pitcher for Ball State University.
From the 2009 Class, Zach Aacker started at first base for Seattle University and Brian Olsen, who graduated in 2011, was the starting catcher.
The 2010 class was represented by Jared Casper who opened up at third base for the Oregon State Beavers and Taylor Smart was at second base for the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
