Synergy U12 purple volleyball squad brings home more hardware

Synergy’s U12 Purple volleyball squad took home the championship at the Tulip Festival Volleyball Tournament April 16 in Mt. Vernon.

Synergy’s U12 Purple volleyball squad took home the championship at the Tulip Festival Volleyball Tournament April 16 in Mt. Vernon.

Synergy won the first and second matches against South Whidbey VBC and Whatcom VBC in their morning pool. The third match was split against Lakes VBC, but, Synergy still took first in the pool.

In the quarterfinals, Synergy defeated Eastside VBC in two straight games then defeated Ferndale VBC in the semifinals.

The finals were played against Sudden Impact VBC. Synergy started the match off well by winning the first game.

Sudden Impact, however, came back in the second game. Synergy was able to win the game by five points.

This is U12 Purple’s third championship this season.

Their next competition will be at the Puget Sound Regional Championship then the Willamette Classic in Oregon.

The team members are: Maicee Conner, Emily Smith, Allana McCollum, Sierra Stultz, Carmen Conforti, Tara Denney, Jordan Nelson, Shelby Chapman, Jaclyn Sanders, Cydnee Miller, Faith Lynch and Tessa Moore.

The Synergy Volleyball Club is a new Maple Valley girls Volleyball Club with U12, U14

and U16 teams.
