Seven members of the Phillips Tae Kwon Do Center in Maple Valley traveled to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. to compete at a National Qualifier May 16 – 17.

Each team member qualified in their division. This will allow them to compete in the World Class division at the junior and senior National Olympic Championships in Austin, Texas June 30 through July 5.

The team members who attended were Makayla Phillips, Tyler Phippen, Amber Reed, Chad Johnnie, Adam Thompson, Drew Thompson, Pierce Thompson, and Coach John Phillips.

Each member competes in their own age and weight division.
