Rainier Christian High School cross country runner headed to state meet

Josh Brockschmidt, a sophomore and cross country runner at Rainier Christian High School, qualified for the state meet at last weekend’s district tournament in Tacoma.

The state championship will be at the Sun Willows Golf Course. Brockschmidt will compete against approximately 1,500 runners from more than 225 schools from across Washington.

“I couldn’t be more proud of Brockschmidt’s success this season and at the district meet,” said coach Heather Buckles. “His race was very exciting and being able to compete at the state level is a real honor.”  The Rainier Christian High School Cross Country team competes in the 1B/2B school classification.
