Maple Valley based Summit Gymnastics Team competes at state championship

Four athletes from the Summit Gymnastics Girl's Artistic Team qualified for and competed in the Washington Fall State Championship on December 4 and 5.

Four athletes from the Summit Gymnastics Girl’s Artistic Team qualified for and competed in the Washington Fall State Championship on December 4 and 5.

The meet was hosted by Gym East in Bellevue, WA.

Athletes competed on uneven bars, floor, vault and balance beam.

All around scores were as follows:

  • Jenna Carlson: 32.175
  • Leilani Guerzon: 32.1
  • Zeah Lucero: 33.6 (taking ninth place in her age group)
  • Hayley Rayburn:  33.825
