Bill Stearns of Des Moines drained a hole in one on the 15th hole at Lake Wilderness Golf Course on Sept. 29.

Stearns was using a six iron on the par 3, 156-yard hole, when he nailed the shot. He was golfing with Bryan Willis of Maple Valley, Sharon Parsons and Stephen Jenson. Marlene Willis, Bryan’s wife, was also there to witness the feat.
