Royals boys junior Tyler Hammer took first in the 100 meters, long jump and triple jump. He ran the 100 in 11.46 seconds, a .10 second improvement over his previous personal record. Hammer long jumped 19 feet, 11 inches, and triple jumped 42 feet, 2.5 inches, nearly a foot farther than his previous personal record. Senior Jarey Suiter took first place in the 200 meters, crossing the finish line at 22.92.

Junior Cartez Green won the 400 meters with a time of 51.36. Junior Abu Kamara took first in the 110 and 300 hurdles, finishing at 14.57 and 40.71 respectively. Kamara’s 110 hurdles time is a new personal record.

The 400 relay team, comprised of Henry Hammond, Kamara, B.J. Phillips and Suiter, took first with a combined time of 43.98. The 1,600 meter relay team also took first, with Phillips, Quincy Carter, Green and Suiter running a total time of 3:28.65.

In field events, senior Ronald Faagia won the shot put, throwing it 43 feet, 9.5 inches, his best throw so far this season. Faagia also took first in discus, throwing it 132 feet, two inches, breaking his previous personal record by seven feet. Senior Armann Brar won the high jump, leaping a vertical height of five feet, six inches. Royals girls junior Stephanie O’Hara won the 400 meters, crossing the finish line at 1:00.63. Junior Jessy O’Hara took first place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.60. Senior Alexia Martin won the two mile with a time of 11:33.13. Senior Chelsea Muskelly won the high jump after making a vertical leap of five feet, four inches. Junior Juliana Adams took first in the pole vaulting after vaulting a height of 10 feet. Junior Chloe Watson won the long jump after leaping 16 feet and one half inch.

Conks boys senior Danny Lunder won the 800 meters with a time of 1:59.88, his best time so far this season. Lunder also won the mile, finishing at 4:25.71, nearly a second faster than his previous personal record. Junior Dasan Telford took first in the two mile with a time of 9:50.26, an eight second improvement over his previous personal record. Junior Mitchell Cox won the javelin, throwing it 121 feet, three inches.

The 400 relay team, comprised of Deedra Patterson, Stephanie O’Hara, Kariona Micks and Jenica Rogers, took first with a total time of 50.15. Their 1,600 meter relay team also won, with Martin, Sara Madden, Stephanie O’Hara and Jessy O’Hara running a combined time of 4:07.34.

Conks girls senior Mykala Benjamin won the 100 and 200 meters with times of 12.46 and 25.94 respectively. Her 100 meter time is a new personal record, and her 200 meter time is her best so far this season. Sophomore Tessa Carlin won the mile at 5:31.50.

Sophomore Sarah Toeaina took first in the 100 and 300 hurdles with times of 15.68 and 47.12 respectively. Her 100 hurdle time is her best so far this season. Sarah Toeaina also won the triple jump with a combined leap of 35 feet, 4.25 inches. The 800 meter relay team, made up of Sarah Toeaina. Amari Bradley, Tori Vallala and Benjamin took first with a combined time of 1:47.05.

In field events, senior Alyx Toeaina won the shot put and discus, throwing them 40 feet, 5.25 inches and 123 feet, one inch respectively. Senior Kacie Seims won the javelin, throwing it 131 feet, three inches, three feet farther than her previous personal record set at the April 25 meet against Tahoma.
