Kentwood and Kentridge high schools square off for spirit event Jan. 29

The Kentwood and Kentridge high schools are participating a school spirit competition and there is both money and a trophy on the line. The boys and girls basketball teams will square off Jan. 29 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, and the school with the most students attending the games will win $10,000 and the Fan Cup trophy.

The girls team plays at 7 p.m. followed by the boys at 8:30 p.m.
