Kentwood held off Auburn 19-7 with two touch downs in the second half while Kentlake put away Tahoma 33-21.
Both the Conquerors and the Falcons kept their undefeated streaks alive.
At halftime, Auburn had a 7-6 lead over Kentwood, but a pair of scores in the second half put the game away for the Conks.
Meanwhile, Kentlake scored often in the first half, including a pair of touchdowns in the last four minutes of the second quarter to go up 26-7.
Tahoma tried to make it close in the fourth and after a short punt put the Bears on the Falcons 30, it looked like the Bears might close the gap until Caleb Mathena picked off Dallin Munk for the second time in the game with about four minutes left. The interception was the last straw and put the game away for Kentlake.
The victories set up another major showdown as Kentlake hosts Kentwood on Oct. 8 for the Falcons’ homecoming game.
