Bears baseball on winning streak

The Bears baseball team is perched on top of the South Puget Sound League, 4A North with a 3-0 league record and 4-1 overall.

Tahoma played two game last week and won both decisively.

The Bears beat Kentridge 10-5 on the road March 27. Tahoma hosted Auburn Riverside March 26 and Bears came out on top 15-1.

Against Kentridge, John Bodenhammer started on the mound going three frames. He was relieved by Spencer Hobson, who picthed one inning and picked up the win. Chris Marangon came in for the save.

Kentridge pitcher Matt Jackson picked up the loss.

Jerad Casper went 2-4 at the plate for Tahoma with a home run, two RBIs and he scored three runs.

Marangon went 3-4 at the dish with two RBIs and he hit one out of the park.

Brian Olson also hit 3-4 with two RBIs and one two bagger.

Against Auburn Riverside, pitcher Thomas Hammett got the win for the Bears.

Casper cracked one out of the park and earned five RBIs.

Kyle Conwell also hit a home run going 1-2.

Ferguson went 3-3 at the plate with three RBIs and a double.

Justin Cloud picked up one hit and two RBIs.
