Today’s edition of the Reporter is the last of our Saturday print publications. It also is the second of three important milestones in our change to a once-a-week schedule.

The next step will come Oct. 17, when we begin publishing our print edition on Friday. From that date on, your Reporter will be delivered on Friday mornings.

The change to one print edition per week is part of our effort to give readers and our advertisers what best suits their needs. We’ll continue the community-based news, features and advertising to which our readers are accustomed. We’re also realigning the way we deliver all of that by increasing the emphasis on our online edition for updated and breaking news and information that people in our communities can turn to any time of the day.

We hope you’ll like these changes. And as always, thank you for reading the Reporter.
