The YWCA is very excited to announce another series of our Spanish-language financial literacy classes, Esperanza y Poder para tus Finanzas Personales (Hope and Power For Your Personal Finances).
We will be offering the free financial literacy class for Spanish-speaking victims/survivors of domestic violence again this spring, March 15 through May 17 in a confidential location in South King County. Classes will be every Thursday afternoon from 12-3 p.m.
Childcare will be provided on site and transportation assistance is available.
During the 10 weeks, we will cover:

- Setting and Meeting Financial Goals
- Basic Banking / Checking Accounts
- Taking a Personal Financial Inventory
- Budgeting Your Money
- How to Save on a Limited Income
- How to Get and Read your Credit Report
- Improving Your Credit
- Federal Income Taxes/EITC
- Financial Aid for School
- Getting a Job
- Small Business Assistance
- Finding a Place to Live
- Protecting yourself with Insurance
