Woman turns over three bags of marijuana after being stopped | Black Diamond Police Blotter

MARIJUANA: A vehicle was stopped at midnight for not having a front license plate. The officer noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, a 41 year old woman, turned over three baggies of marijuana and a metal pipe. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and no vehicle insurance.

Aug. 19

DAMAGED SIGNS: Officers investigated a malicious mischief report involving damage to street signs and a mailbox in the 200 block of 224th Avenue. Also found were two stop signs that had been knocked down in the areas of Southeast 312th and 228th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 292 and 216th Avenue Southeast along with a speed sign. A mailbox was also found damaged on Roberts Drive. Total estimated property damage is $375

Aug. 16

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Officers were dispatched to an alarm that was set off at a local business at 3 a.m. on 3rd Avenue. Upon arrival damage was found to the glass front door and side window. No entry was made and nothing of value was missing.

TOOLS STOLEN: A resident reported tools had been stolen from his shed sometime between Aug. 9-14 on Pacific Avenue. Total amount of tools stolen was $775
