On Jan. 12 it was reported that loss prevention at Walmart reported a man had run out of the store carrying a tote of routers. According to the police report, it is an estimated $1,000 loss.

On Jan. 12 a female subject was arrested for shoplifting DVDs and a jacket from Costco. According to the police report, she concealed the DVDs in her purse and wore the jacket out of the store. She was released on scene and charged with third degree theft.

On Jan. 13 a male subject shoplifted a bottle of Fireball from the Maple Valley Safeway. According to the police report, he hid the bottle in his pants and left the store without paying.

On Jan. 15 officers responded to reports that a generator was taken from the construction site of a new home. The generator was left outside under a pile of scrap plywood.

On Jan. 17 the reporting party told officers her laptop was stolen from her locked vehicle. She told officers she wasn’t sure how they got inside because there was no damage to the locks and the vehicle was still locked the next morning.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Jan. 9 officers arrested a subject for urinating in public. According to the report, the subject was in the QFC parking lot.

FORGERY

According to the police report, on Jan. 10 it was reported that a subject used a counterfeit $100 at Bartell Drugs in Maple Valley. Once the subject used the bill, they drove off.

FRAUD

On Jan. 14 it was reported that a subject bought auto parts from O’Reilly Auto Parts using fake checks. The police report also stated the subject had fake ID’s.
