Woman hits a parked car, tells witnesses she’s been drinking then drives home | Black Diamond Police Blotter

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 22500 block of SE 298th Street for a possible domestic violence call. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the married couple.

DOMETIC VIOLENCE: 22500 block of SE 298th Street. Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 22500 block of SE 298th Street for a  possible domestic violence call.  Upon arrival the officers made contact with the married couple.  After speaking with both parties it was determined the wife had assaulted the husband.  The wife was placed under arrest and eventually booked into Buckley jail for domestic violence-assault  fourth degree.

THEFT: 32700 block of 5th Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a theft report in the 32700 block of 5th Avenue.  Upon arrival they made contact with the reporting party who advised two known acquaintances were at her residence the night before and when she woke the next morning several items were missing from her purse.  The woman said she had been drinking the night before with the two acquaintances.  Officers spoke with the two acquaintances who denied any involvement in the missing items.  A short time later the woman contacted the police department and said she did not feel her acquaintances took the missing items, requesting us to not pursue the matter further.

May 5

DUI:  25600 block of Cumberland Drive. Officers were dispatched to a DUI and hit and run accident in the 25600 block of Cumberland Drive.

Upon arrival officers spoke with two witnesses who observed a vehicle hit a parked car and then continue to a residence in the same neighborhood.  Witnesses said the woman driver admitted to them she had been drinking.  Officers contacted the woman and observed obvious signs of intoxication. The woman was placed under arrest and transported to Buckley jail for DUI processing.  Upon completion of a breath test the she was booked into jail.
