Southbound Witte Road at state Route 169 will be temporarily closed to traffic during construction between 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19.

Traffic will be detoured to Southeast 240th Street.

City of Maple Valley Public Works Department will be repairing Witte Road between state Route 169 and the north access to Wilderness Village.

The repair work should be completed on Tuesday, Sept. 20, depending on weather conditions.

Repair work on the northbound lane of Witte Road will also begin on Sept. 19. Northbound Witte Road will be open to through traffic, however, traffic revisions will occur, and delays are expected.
