IDENTITY THEFT: 19200 block of Southeast 270th Place. While checking her credit report with all three credit bureaus a woman noticed a fraudulent car loan application on all three reports. She called Campbell Nelson Volkswagen in Lynnwood to get more information about the loan.
Feb. 6
VANDALISM: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. While driving on Kent Kangley Road through downtown Covington, a woman realized something had struck her vehicle as she was passing Fred Meyer. When she looked at the damage it appeared that her car was struck by a BB pellet.
ANGRY DRUNK: 18700 block of Southeast 258th Place. While intoxicated, a person was banging on their front door and also jumping on the roof, and apparently has a history of being “physical while intoxicated.” The person was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Feb. 5
PLAY MONEY: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A suspect attempted to purchase items with a poorly made counterfeit $100 bill at Walmart.
Feb. 3
THREATS: 16000 block of Southeast 249th Place. Parents were threatened by a suspect after their son’s drug deal went bad.
CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT: 17400 block of Southeast 272nd Street. An irate customer walked into the am/pm convenience store and broke the store’s telephone.

Feb. 6
SPARE CHANGE: 24400 block of 224th Avenue Southeast. Someone broke a garage window to get into a home where the thief stole change and hypodermic needles.
Feb. 2
HOME ALONE: 27800 block of 242nd Place Southeast. Parents were reported for leaving their children home alone for a brief period of time.
