Volunteers sought by for garden project at Covington food bank Saturday

Boy Scout Troop 416 and other members of the community will be installing a half acre garden at the site of the Covington storehouse from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Boy Scout Troop 416 and other members of the community will be installing a half acre garden at the site of the Covington storehouse from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The garden is located at 26201 180th Avenue Southeast, Covington.

Volunteers are free to bring garden tools, shovels, rakes and gloves.

The garden installation is part of an Eagle Scout project by Caleb Nelson.
