Video voters guide for August primary now available on King County TV

King County TV is debuting an edition of the biennial Video Voters Guide covering King County races for the August 18 primary.

King County TV is debuting an edition of the biennial Video Voters Guide covering King County races for the August 18 primary.

King County TV will carry both editions of the Video Voters Guide at various times starting this weekend on Comcast and Broadstripe Cable 22. You can find specific viewing times at this Web site. The programs are also carried on the Seattle Channel and many local government access channels on Cable 21.

The programs are also available online through King County’s Granicus streaming video system atthis site..

The King County edition includes candidates for the countywide offices of King County Executive, the Metropolitan King County Council and the Port of Seattle Commission.

Each of the statements is up to two-minutes long and unedited. The candidates and issues appear onscreen in the same order as they do on the ballot.

A special Chinese language edition of both Video Voter Guides is also available online through the King County Elections Chinese language page at this site.

The Video Voters Guide is hosted by Frank Abe, executive producer of King County TV and is a collaboration of King County TV, the Seattle Channel, King County Elections and the Seattle Ethics and Elections Commission.
