Trail Building with WTA | Oct. 22 & 26
Join Washington Trails Association, King County, and Friends of Cedar Creek Park for a day of trail building at Cedar Creek Park. Work parties start at 8:30 a.m.Go to www.wta.org to sign up. Click on work parties and scroll down to “Cedar Creek Trail” and click on “Details/Join”.
Autumn Hike | Nov. 2
Join us for a hike through Cedar Creek Park at 11 a.m. Fall is a beautiful time of year to view the fall color of the giant maples and feel the cool crisp air of the changing season. This is a hike for the whole family.
Night Owl Hike | Nov. 6
Join us for an evening walk through Cedar Creek Park at 6 p.m. We’ll look for night critters—owls, flying squirrels, raccoons, possums, and maybe we’ll even see the elusive Mountain Beaver. Families welcome. No dogs on this one. Bring clothing for any kind of weather and a flashlight or headlamp.
Weekly Wine, Women, & the Woods | Tuesdays
Join us for a weekly hike at Cedar Creek Park at 6:15 p.m. followed by good conversation and a glass of wine at Ristrettos. This is a great opportunity to meet other women in the area who like to get out for a hike. Social pace. All are welcome!
