Unsecured load reveals driver with suspended license | Black Diamond Police Blotter

An officer observed a truck traveling in the 30700 block of 3rd Avenue with an unsecured load. The officer stopped the truck and noticed that the tabs did not belong to that truck. The male driver was identified by his driver’s license and upon a record checked it showed his driving status as suspended. The driver also did not have insurance. The male driver was placed under arrest and released by citation. The truck was impounded.

  • SHOPLIFTING: 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a shoplifting call at a local business. Upon arrival an employee had two juveniles detained for stealing merchandise. The two juvenile subjects admitted to taking the items because they did not have the money to purchase it. The store owner declined to file charges, but requested both juveniles receive criminal trespass notifications. Both juveniles were released to their parents.
