If you’re heading across Lake Washington in January mark your calendar for two weekends of work on westbound I-90.

Westbound I-90 traffic will be reduced to one lane and rerouted to the express lanes next weekend, Jan. 8-11 and Jan. 22-25, from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Contractor crews working for WSDOT and Sound Transit will continue to upgrade the tunnel operations system as part of a project to add new all-day HOV lanes.
