- ACCIDENT: 30400 Kent Black Diamond Road Southeast. A woman suffered serious injuries in a two-car accident after she attempted to stop her Chevrolet TrailBlazer on 168th Avenue Southeast but slid due to ice. A Dodge Ram pickup traveling on the Kent Black Diamond Road was unable to avoid hitting the TrailBlazer on the driver’s side. Medics arrived on the scene and found the female driver of the TrailBlazer pinned in her seat due to the impact of the pickup. They were able to extricate her through the passenger side of the vehicle, and she was transported to the local trauma center with serious injuries. The other vehicle had four passengers, none of whom were reported injured. The accident is currently under investigation.

- INJURY: 158th Avenue Southeast. A 70-year-old woman suffered significant injuries after a tree limb fell on her and hit her on the head and back of her neck. Medics found her unconscious when they responded to the scene and took her to a local trauma center for treatment.
