A man suffered non-life threatening injuries July 3 when the tractor he was on tipped.

When firefighters from the Kent Fire Department RFA arrived shortly after noon in the 14500 block of SE 288 Pl., they found the man conscious and alert, but unable to free himself. His leg became trapped as the tractor tipped over.

Firefighters used special jacks, normally used in auto extrications, to stabilize the tractor and lift it high enough to free him.

The patient was transported to a local hospital by ambulance after being examined by King County paramedics.
