There’s still plenty of time to sign up for the Covington-Maple Valley-Black Diamond Relay for Life event set for June 24-25 at Tahoma Junior High.

Anyone interested in starting a team or participating is encouraged to attend the regular Team Captain meetings scheduled for 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month on the third floor of Covington MultiCare.

Organizers also want to encourage cancer survivors to participate. They don’t have to join a team or raise money.
