If you’re an I-405 commuter, next week won’t be a great one for the drive.

Construction crews, continuing the the widening of Interstate 405 and State Route 167 in Renton and Tukwila, may close as many as two lanes on southbound SR-167 between I-405 and South 180th Street during the nights and early morning hours Sept. 15-18.

Also, on Sept. 14-18 during the night and early morning hours, crews may close two lanes of northbound and three lanes of southbound I-405 between Southeast 8th Street and 112th Avenue Southeast in Bellevue for pavement repair. Crews may close Coal Creek Parkway at I-405 for work on the highway’s bridge over Coal Creek Parkway.

In addition, ramps that might be closed include the ones from southbound I-405 to westbound Interstate 90, from southbound I-405 to eastbound I-90, from Southeast 8th Street to southbound I-405, and from Northeast 8th Street, Northeast 4th Street and Southeast 8th Street to southbound I-405.

State Department of Transportation officials said specific closure details will be posted by noon today on the DOT Web site at http://wsdot.wa.gov/projects/i405/conupdates
