All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
FRAUD
• On Sept. 4 it was reported that a female with a similar name to the victim has been using the victim’s prepaid account throughout Maple Valley. It was reported that most recently the subject used the victim’s prepaid account at a coffee stand and tanning salon. The police report stated this fraud has been happening on and off for years now.
THEFT
• On Sept. 2 it was reported that a mini excavator and trailer had been stolen from Home Depot. The police report stated the equipment were leased out for use.
• On Sept. 2 officers responded to reports the victim’s vehicle was stolen from her driveway by an unknown suspect. According to the police report, the victim believes her brother may be responsible. The report also stated the contents from the bed of the truck were left behind at the scene.
DRUNKENNESS
• On Sept. 2 it was reported that an intoxicated female fell in a parking lot. It was reported that she got up and got into the wrong vehicle because she thought it was her car. She was transported home after the fire department examined her.
