The Greater Maple Valley Area Council next scheduled meeting Feb. 1

The Greater Maple Valley Area Council will hold its regular monthly meeting 7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at the King County Sheriff’s Department Precinct No. 3, on the northeast corner of the intersection at Southeast 231st Street and state Route 169 across from the Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety Station.

All members of the public are invited to attend. During an open comment period at the start of the meeting members of the public can address the council on local issues of importance to them.

The council is locally elected and represents all unincorporated area residents living in the Tahoma School District. It serves as the area’s advisory body to the King County Council.
