COVINGTON

June 26

  • BURNING BUCKET: 19600 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Someone used a propane tank to ignite a port-o-potty.
  • OUT OF CONTROL TEEN: 25800 block of 177th Place Southeast. When an officer arrived at the scene after receiving reports of an “out of control 13-year-old” a crowd had gathered. The teenage boy threw a a hairbrush at his mother and threatened to throw a rock at a neighbor.

June 25

  • VANDAL CAUGHT: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A tagger was caught spray painting graffiti on a fence near Walmart. When he was caught it was discovered the vandal had warrants out for his arrest.

June 24

  • STOLEN MAIL: 26000 block of 204th Avenue Southeast. The victim reported that someone had broken into their mailbox and stolen mail. The victim confirmed with postal workers mail has been delivered and they were not aware of the damage.
  • IDENTIFY THEFT: 15400 block of Southeast 254th Street. In the process of applying for a job, a company ran a background check on the victim, and discovered there were 10 different names using the woman’s Social Security number. At that point the woman realized her identifying information was being used to commit fraud.

June 22

  • GOT A SPARE?: Someone stole the rear spare tire from a car parked in the driveway of a home. The victim’s mother reported the theft as the owner of the car is currently out of the country attending school.
  • EGG TOSSERS: 19000 block of Southeast 269th Street. A pair of juveniles were caught throwing eggs at a woman’s car.

June 21

  • ASSAULT: 26300 block of Timberlane Drive. A woman alleges that a man assaulted her by throwing her 10 feet into the air.

 

MAPLE VALLEY

June 23

  • BLAZING A TRAIL: 24300 block of Lake Wilderness Trail. Bike patrol officers caught “teenagers blazing it up on the trail” at 1 p.m. on the Lake Wilderness Trail.

June 22

  • EXTORTION: 26400 block of 231st Place Southeast. A man alleged that the suspect threatened to harm his daughter if he didn’t give the suspect money and other items.
  • BLOW THIS: 26800 block of Maple Valley Highway.  While a landscaping worker was using an air blower in a parking lot in Four Corners, the suspect pretended to ask the worker a question. When the employee put the blower down, the suspect grabbed it and ran away.

June 21

  • BURGLARY: 21800 block of Southeast 265th Way. A deputy was working off duty checking on vacant and foreclosed homes in the Cherokee Bay neighborhood for vandalism or break ins. He discovered an abandoned home with possessions still inside had been broken into when burglars apparently broke out glass from a living room window to get into the house. A few blocks away, the deputy came across another burglary where the suspects forced entry through the rear door of an abandoned home with possessions still inside.
  • EGGED: 27300 block of 245th Avenue Southeast. During a handful of specific times, the victim reported seeing a silver truck drive by with the occupants throwing eggs at his truck, which he washed off immediately so there was no damage to the vehicle.

June 18

  • DRUG DEAL BUSTED: 23700 block of Witte Road Southeast. A deputy located suspects when they attempted to meet to conduct a drug transaction and seized a gram of heroin. Later that day the same deputy used a seized cell phone to set up a drug deal with a suspect in Maple Valley then seized heroin and drug paraphernalia upon arrest.
