Tahoma We the People team’s finish at nationals highest in school’s history

Tahoma High School's We the People team competed in the national finals in Washington D.C., placing seventh.

Tahoma High School’s We the People team competed in the national finals in Washington D.C., placing seventh.

This is the highest finish in school history for the team, and the second year in a row the team has finished in the top 10.

At nationals teams participate in simulated congressional hearings and are tested on their knowledge of the constitution. At the competition, 46 states and the District of Columbia were represented.

The team from Tahoma is coached by teacher Gretchen Wulfing.
