Tahoma School District sends letter to parents of Lake Wilderness students in response to parent’s concerns

The Tahoma School District sent a letter electronically to all parents of Lake Wilderness students on Wednesday in response to parents' concerns about a man who has been taking video of the school parking lot.

The Tahoma School District sent a letter electronically to all parents of Lake Wilderness students on Wednesday in response to parents’ concerns about a man who has been taking video of the school parking lot.

In the letter it was explained that a man has a dispute with the district about traffic flow and parking at the school. The man has been seen recording video of the parking lot while standing on the sidewalk along Witte Road.

Also according to the letter the man has been informed that he is not allowed on campus and that the Maple Valley Police Department and district security are involved and are monitoring the situation. The school district does not consider the man a threat.
