Tacoma Musical Playhouse announces 2013 – 2014 season

Tacoma Musical Playhouse the region’s largest community theater opens its 20th season, bringing six musicals for its 2013 - 2014 season.

Tacoma Musical Playhouse the region’s largest community theater opens its 20th season, bringing six musicals for its 2013 – 2014 season.

Les Misérables kicks off the season on Friday, Oct. 18, running through Nov. 10.

The second production is Annie, a family favorite returning to TMP after 13 seasons, beginning Nov. 29 – Dec. 22.

In the new year its Shout!, a fun-filled score with terrific new arrangements of classic 60’s tunes! Shout! runs Jan. 17 – Feb. 9.

Man of La Mancha, one of the great theater successes of our time – based on Cervantes´ Don Quixote, is TMP’s fourth production beginning Friday, March 14 – April 6.

The fifth production is one of the all-time hits of musical comedy, La Cage Aux Folles, running May 16 – June 8, 2014.

The last show of the season is Mel Brooks musical Young Frankenstein, on July 11 – Aug. 3, 2014.
