Subject trespassed from 4 businesses after loitering, panhandling | Covington & Maple Valley Reporter

On Dec. 22 it was reported that grandparent attempted to “friend” their granddaughter on Facebook using a different first name. This act is in violation of a court protection order.

All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDER

On Dec. 22 it was reported that grandparent attempted to “friend” their granddaughter on Facebook using a different first name. This act is in violation of a court protection order.

HIT AND RUN

On Dec. 22 a subject fled the scene after causing an accident. He was later contacted and provided a statement to officers that contradicted witness statements. At the time of the police report, the extent of the victim’s minor injuries were unknown.

On Dec. 26 it was reported that an unknown vehicle hit a parked, unoccupied car.

DISTURBANCE

On Dec. 24 officers responded to reports that a husband and wife were arguing over the husband’s marijuana use. According to the police report, the husband threw a plastic cup into the sink and broke it.

On Dec. 31 officers responded to reports of a family disturbance between adults with children in common. According to the police report there is a history of domestic violence calls from this residence.

TRESPASS

On Dec. 24 two subjects were detained for attempting to shoplift from Kohl’s. Both were also found in possession of multiple knives. They were formally trespassed from the property and booked into SCORE on prior warrants.

On Dec. 29 officers contacted and formally trespassed a subject after management at Starbucks, Gyros House, Panda Express and Jersey Mikes reported he loiters and panhandles in front of their businesses without being a customer. According to the police report, the subject pretends to be deaf. He also reportedly bothers other customers, uses the restroom and internet without being a paying customer.

On Dec. 31 two male subjects were trespassed from Pla-Mor Tavern after getting in altercation with an employee.

On Jan. 3 it was reported that a McDonalds manager requested a juvenile be trespassed for making a mess and loitering.
