Catherine Brooks, daughter of Oliver and Janice Brooks of Covington, earned the distinction of Collegiate Scholar and a spot on the Academic Dean’s list at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa for the fall 2012 semester.

Brooks was one of 412 students who made the Dean’s list and one of only 245 to earn the title of Collegiate Scholar.

Brooks is a junior and is studying Christian education.
