Public Health of Seattle and King County has notified the Kent School District that it has begun to see an increase in influenza activity in King County.

Illness clusters have appeared in schools and long-term care facilities, and there are an increasing number of cases being reported at local hospitals and clinics.

While not a cause for alarm, officials do want KSD to share a reminder with families about staying as healthy as possible this cold and flu season.
