The hills are alive at the Kentlake Performing Arts Center
The Kentlake High School drama club will be performing The Sound of Music starting on Wednesday, April 13.
The production will run through April 23. Show times at 7 p.m. on weekdays and two showings on Saturdays, one at 2 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m.
Students from Kentlake along with others from Grasslake Elementary, Sawyer Woods Elementary, Cedar Valley Elementary, Millennium Elementary, Cedar Heights Middle School and a home schooled student are performing in this year’s production.
An educational display will be set up in the lobby created with help from grandparents who are WWII survivors.

Turkey hunting clinic coming to Black Diamond
The Hunter Education Division within the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting a free clinic in Black Diamond.
The clinic beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 will focus on turkey hunting.
The clinic will include turkey call demonstrations and tips for hunting from the Pacific coast to Idaho.
Participants will also receive booklets that provide information on species identification, biology, habitat, how and where to hunt turkey, care of harvested game, and safety practices.
