The “Shop with a Cop” program took place again this year Dec. 10 at the Covington Walmart.
Christmas presents were bought for more than 450 youths. Each child received $50 to shop with a cop.
The program is hosted by the King County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Greater King County Police
Activities League and the Maple Valley Rotary Club.
Emphasis patrols will be active in King County to encourage safe driving
