MARIJUANA: An officer observed a vehicle with expired tabs. While contacting the driver, the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana came from the vehicle. The 20-year-old female driver said she was unaware her tabs were expired, but advised the officer she had some marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The marijuana and drug paraphernalia was seized and the driver was issued a criminal citation and released.
Aug. 4
FELONY WARRANT: Officers received information from the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office there was an outstanding felony warrant for a 45-year-old female regarding identity theft charges from their jurisdiction and she may be residing in the Cedarbrook Mobile Home Park. While driving through the park, officers observed a woman matching a photograph of the wanted person at the mailboxes. Upon confirmation of her identity, the woman was arrested without incident and booked into King County jail to be extradited back to Walla Walla. Additional fake identifications were found on the woman during her arrest.
Aug. 3
ROCKS: Officers were dispatched to a vandalism incident that had just occurred to a woman’s vehicle. The woman said she was driving southbound on 228th Avenue Southeast and at about Southeast 312th Street a large object struck the top of her vehicle. Since this occurred at 1 a.m. there were no other vehicles in the area. The reporting party stopped immediately after hearing the first object hit her vehicle and then was struck by a second object. Through investigation of the area two large rocks were located. The woman was provided a case number and continued to her destination.
