Rock thrown through restaurant window | Covington-Maple Valley Police Blotter

Someone threw a rock through the east main door of Arby's and entered the restaurant. The safe was tampered with, but nothing was taken.

  • MAIL THEFT: 19400 block of Southeast 271st Street. A woman believes her parents have been stealing her mail.

    DANCING IN THE STREET: 19200 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A woman was reportedly dancing in the street in the early afternoon in downtown Covington.

  • BURGLARY: 17000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Someone threw a rock through the east main door of Arby’s and entered the restaurant. The safe was tampered with, but nothing was taken.

  • LOST: 27200 block of 172nd Avenue Southeast. A man left his wallet at a Subway restaurant. He went back to see if it was still there but it was not. He called his bank and discovered more than $200 in charges had been made at various places in Covington.

NO PARKING: 22000 block of Southeast Wax Road. A deputy noticed a maroon Ford Taurus parked in the eastbound lane of Southeast Wax Road in front of Maple Valley City Hall. The vehicle’s lights were not on and it was blocking the road as well as the driveway to City Hall. The driver was found in possession of marijuana.
