Covington Days is this weekend. The annual events features a parade on Saturday, July 18 starting at 10 a.m.

The parade will begin at Real Life Church, 26201 180th Ave. S.E. and end at the festival grounds on Southeast 269th Place.

All of SE Wax Road from SE 272nd Street to SE 262nd Place will be closed starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The road will reopen when it is safe to do so, according to the event organizers. They anticipate the parade lasting until about 11:45 a.m.

Parade participants, family and friends will not be allowed to park in the church parking lot and will need to make arrangements for drop-off and relocating any vehicles.
