Residence burglarized while homeowners were asleep | Black Diamond Police Blotter

BURGLARY: 28800 block of 224th Avenue. A residence was burglarized sometime during the night while the homeowners were asleep. The homeowner went into the home office in the morning and found his wallet located in a different place and it had been gone through with some contents of the wallet on the floor and $250 missing. Money was also taken from a purse located in the kitchen. The case is still under investigation.

REVOKED LICENSE: A vehicle was stopped for not having license plates. The driver, a 27-year-old male, was driving with a revoked license in the first degree because he was a habitual offender. His vehicle was impounded and he was transported to Buckley Jail.

May 12

DUI: 3rd Avenue. An officer observed a vehicle near midnight speeding. The vehicle move side to side within its lane of travel. The officer stopped the 23-year-old female driver and while speaking to her could smell the odor of intoxicants. After performing the sobriety tests it was determined the driver was under the influence and taken to Buckley Jail.
