Registration for the Maple Valley Parks and Recreation Youth Coed T-Ball League begins March 19. Space is limited so participants are encouraged to register before the deadline, March 30.

The player fee is only $62 and includes at team t-shirt and hat. Registration forms can be found online at www.maplevalleywa.gov or at the Parks and Recreation Department at the Lake Wilderness Lodge. Phone registrations will not be accepted.

The T-Ball League is open to boys and girls ages 3-6 and two age divisions are available: 3-4 and 5-6. Children’s ages will be based upon their age as of April 1, and players cannot turn seven years old until June 1.

Practices are held once a week at Lake Wilderness Park between 5-7 p.m. and are scheduled by the coaches.

Games are on played on Saturdays beginning May 5 and ending June 23.

Adult volunteer coaches are needed for this program and interested individuals must pass a Washington State Background Investigation.

An informational coach’s meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Wilderness Lodge so even first-time coaches can enjoy the season.

For only $150 team sponsors can create the logo on a team’s t-shirts, will receive a sponsor plaque, and will have their business name displayed on the game schedule and the City’s website.
